Thank you Sally for everything!
Former Diocesan President, Valerie, paid a heartfelt tribute to Diocesan President Sally, acknowledging her dedication and commitment during her six years as Diocesan President of Connor Mothers’ Union and as a representative of Connor at the All Ireland Trustees. Valerie highlighted several special moments from Sally’s term of office, including her commissioning service, which featured personal music choices; the planting of a tree in Ballycastle to mark the 130th anniversary of MU in Ireland; the Annual Gathering in Belfast; and welcoming AIP June to Connor as part of the Mums in May fundraising initiative, among many others. Valerie also expressed gratitude for Sally’s warmth and hospitality, noting how she had generously hosted Trustee and Executive members in her home on numerous occasions. On behalf of all the members, Valerie presented Sally with a gift from the Diocese and wished Sally and her husband Bob every blessing in the future.
