Mid Connor 16 Days of Activism Prayer Breakfast

Mid Connor Area are holding a prayer breakfast in St Patrick’s Church Hall, Castle Street, Ballymena to mark the start of the annual 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign. A light breakfast will be served in the hall, Arlene Creighton from Women’s Aid Antrim, Ballymena, Carrickfergus, Larne, and Newtownabbey will be the speaker at the event.
The annual 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is an international campaign to challenge violence against women and girls. The campaign runs every year from 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to 10 December, Human Rights Day.
There is no cost for the breakfast but donations towards Mothers’ Union projects in conjunction with Women’s Aid will be very much appreciated.
