A busy end to the year for Agherton Branch!
The Agherton Branch hosted the North Connor Area Service and were blessed with a lovely evening of fellowship, with our Diocesan President, Alison, in attendance and a heartfelt service led by Rev. Malcolm. The evening concluded with a delicious supper, shared in good company.
Our final meeting before the summer break was a lively treasure hunt, which, to say the least, was thoroughly scrutinised — but all in good fun! The adventure ended with a relaxing tea at the rectory, where we were treated to some tasty delights from Carol and Malcolm.
A special highlight was a generous contribution from one of our Persian parishioners, Sara, who shared her homemade baklava with us — a wonderful opportunity to sample a traditional recipe and enjoy a taste of her culture.
