Mothers’ Union as an international Christian charity has to adhere to the Charity Commission regulations and good practice. At the start of this new triennial, it was felt that all officeholders in Connor Diocese needed to be made aware of the responsibilities of the role of a trustee. None better to do this is former DP Roberta with her vast experience of MU through her previous roles within the diocese, All Ireland and MSH. Trustees and Executive members met at the Dunsilly Hotel for a very informative morning led by Roberta in her usual relaxed and humorous manner. Everyone appreciated her time and advice on this important aspect of MU.
