Hello from our New DP!

Dear Fellow Members,
This is the first opportunity I have had in this new year to contact you as your new Diocesan President for Connor MU. In doing so, I would like to pay tribute to Sally, our former President, for her dedication and commitment to the work of Connor Diocese MU over the past six years.
I feel both honoured and humbled to have been elected to this position. Thank you for the faith you have put in me. The role is also just a little bit daunting, so I hope you will be patient with me as I seek to get to grips with the tasks ahead. I know I can rely on your support and prayers, as this is definitely a joint venture over the triennium!
I am looking forward to our new theme for 2025-2027: Join Us and Join In! Thank you to all the branches for the excellent work you have done thus far and I want to encourage you all to keep going. Our work is vital and it transforms lives. As we look ahead, we also need to think how we can attract and encourage new members into our organisation.
As the recent frost melts (thankfully!) and the first shoots of spring begin to emerge, we look forward to consolidating what we have already achieved and also to developing new initiatives in Connor.
May we keep in mind one of the Epiphany themes, Immanuel – ‘God with us’, as we journey together through the coming year and pray that his presence will strengthen and guide us in all that we say and do in his name.
