Let’s go to the Movies!
On Monday 16 May our Young Members’ Committee held a very successful movie night in St Patrick’s Parish Church, Ballymena. The movie of choice was the first Downton Abbey Movie. Our Young Members’ Committee certainly got into the spirit of the evening by dressing as maids. Everyone attending enjoyed refreshments of popcorn, sparkling/still water and ice cream during the interval! This was the first event the committee has been able to organise in over 2 years due to Covid-19, it was wonderful to hear the chat and laughter in the hall and everyone without a doubt enjoyed the fun and fellowship. We are delighted that over £300 was raised for the Mothers’ Union Worldwide Fund. Many thanks to everyone who supported the evening and to the committee for all their hard work.
